London: An incident of mass stabbing has been reported in London where many people have been injured injured, including two police officials. The UK police said it has arrested the man who wielded a sword and attacked people and two police officers on Tuesday in the east London community of Hainault.
The incident is not being treated as terror-related, reported AP. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ade Adelekan called the incident a “terrifying” one for those concerned.
“I know the wider community will be feeling shock and alarm. People will want to know what has happened and we will provide more information as soon as we can,” he said, quoted AP. The detective further added that police do not believe there is a threat to the wider community.
