Adam Sandler surprises London fans by showing up to shoot hoops in local pickup basketball game

Adam Sandler was a long way from Hollywood ahead of Sunday’s 2024 Oscars.

The “Happy Gilmore” star was seen surprisingly shooting hoops at a London recreation center this week to the delight of young fans.

Sandler, 57, spontaneously showed up to the Kensington Leisure Centre, according to social media clips.

Footage showed Sandler in a Hawaiian short and gray sweatpants showing off his moves on the court, and being surrounded by kids trying to get selfies with the former “SNL” star.

One TikToker said in a post with a clip, “I’m in… west London. I pulled up to my local basketball court and look. Bro, that’s Adam Sandler, look bro, you lot think I’m messing?”

Sandler was spotted rocking the same loud-print shirt earlier in the week, while out and about with his wife, Jackie, for a stroll in Los Angeles.

“He pulls up to local courts all the time,” commenters on social media said after his London appearance, adding, “He does this all the time in New York he’s like a regular.”

Last summer, Sandler and “Wonka” star Timothée Chalamet were spotted playing together in a pickup basketball game in NYC neighborhood Soho, which also wound up stunning fans.

The odd pair acted together in the 2014 film “Men, Women & Children.”
