Grand National 2024: Corach Rambler bids for back-to-back wins

Corach Rambler, who will be ridden by Derek Fox once more, became just the third Scottish-trained winner in the 175th running of the famous race.

And he was the second success for Russell after One For Arthur in 2017.

“It’s the most fabulous race and I’m so proud to have won it twice,” she said.

“In the last two weeks, suddenly Corach looks great in his coat, he looks the right shape – we’re really excited about him.

“He’s a very special animal. He races what we call ‘off the bridles’, very relaxed through the race.

“There’s always a worry about what other horses do and you need that bit of luck and a clear run.

“I think he’s got a great chance.”
