Exeter betting tips
2.25: Alfie’s Princess 6/5 (NAP – 2pts)
This mare trained by Sam Thomas will be ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, who is in great form recently and won on this horse on her hurdle debut at Chepstow last month.
Winning by over seven lengths to Florencethemachine, having showed promise in bumpers last season, including a close second in listed mares’ company at Huntingdon.
Was a never close eighth at Aintree’s Grand National Grade 2 bumper in April but clearly has a lot of potential, especially after that debut.
Difficult to know how good Kits Coty can be as well after a decent attempt at Ludlow, and only didn’t finish because she was badly hampered which led to unseating Tom Bellamy in the saddle.
But this favourite is strong in the market for a reason and should go in further.
3.00: Lady Adare 11/4 (NB – 2pts)
Won well on chase debut at Worcester in October, ran well again in Grade 2 company and sets the standard at a great price, albeit in a mixed field with a fair amount of uncertainty and unexposed sorts.
She was a decent second to Knappers Hill and that was a great effort against the odds-on favourite, who is rated 153, and this mare should be on the rise even with that 9lb hike.

Leicester betting tips
1.30: One True King 3/1 (1pt)
Remains on a handy mark having gone well behind Found On, who subsequently went on to run in listed company.
Sixth on his second run of the season over 3m1f and was only four lengths off, but according to the vet, he did lose his left fore shoe, and comes into a preferred trip amongst some easier looking rivals.
Has won a few times on soft and shouldn’t mind the heavy going but only has one run on that ground before.
Plumpton betting tips
1.40: General Medrano 7/4 (1pt)
Brave Kingdom is coming back for the first time in nearly 700 days, albeit on the back of a wind op, but can’t be sided with ahead of the favourite purely for that reason alone as he’ll surely need the run.
The other rivals face a tough task coming into their chase debuts against a horse that has won his first two runs over fences, quite comfortably too.
General Medrano had great form over hurdles and his last effort over those obstacles came behind November Meeting winner Iberico Lord and great hurdler Under Control.
He’s gone up from a rating of 118 to 134 in two runs and must still be progressing, and should out jump his competition today.
Kempton betting tips
7.00: Perseus Way 13/8 (1pt)
Went a promising second on his first run for Owen Burrows over 1m3f, but is even more promising stepping up to 2m given his hurdling form and stamina.
That was his second run on the all-weather and may have even needed the run last time out which can see him really progress here alongside his Graded hurdling career.
