Over The Odds 25/2/2023 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting. Hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday when finding Parisal at $8.

Morphettville Race Four Number 5 Santelmo Fuego ($16):

Santelmo Fuego is one of the hardest to beat. Had good specking at a price when resuming at Strathalbyn, finding the line nicely late when third to Famous Prince. He then went to the mile here where he got back in the run and was good late without threatening behind En Francais. He’s come back in really good order to my eye and I do think he finds a winnable race.

Morphettville Race Six Number 1 Kenyan Wonder ($14):

Kenyan Wonder is knocking on the door to win for Ryan Balfour. She ran over this track/distance two weeks ago where she got a fair way back in the run and despite never really being a winning threat, I liked the way she finished her race off when third to Victorian raider Bellinger. She can settle closer in the run if need be and should that eventuate, she’ll take beating I’d suggest.

Morphettville Race Nine Number 3 Bamyan Buddha ($8.50):

Bamyan Buddha is worth an each way ticket in the get out. He ran over 1100m here two weeks ago where he was just run off his legs early and did make up late ground but was never really a threat behind Endlessly. Fab track/distance record and he does get in really well after the claim for Rawiller. With luck from the tricky gate, I think he’ll only run well.

Sandown Race Nine Number 3 Masked Crusader ($26):

The more I look at this race and how hard they go in front, the more I think Masked Crusader is an outstanding each way gamble. You look at his form. For 18 months he has taken on the best sprinters, and has measured up on occasion, but hasn’t won. This is a second/third tier quality Group l sprint, he has a booming finish and has these on toast re class. I am more than happy to back each way.
