Sarfaraz Ahmed has vehemently denied rumors suggesting his migration to United Kingdom in the wake of a disappointing show against Australia in AUS vs PAK five-match Test series. Putting an end to all speculations, Sarfaraz clarified that he remains firmly rooted in his commitment to the national team and is focused on overcoming challenges in future competitions.

Making a sensational return to Pakistan’s Test team for AUS vs PAK Test series, Sarfaraz Ahmed failed to shine in the series opener, getting out after single-digit scores (3 runs and 4 runs respectively) in both innings. The dismal outings led to the 36-year-old  senior cricketer being dropped for all subsequent matches.

In an interview with Samaa Digital, Sarfaraz Ahmed emphatically stated that the notion of him leaving Pakistan is unthinkable, dismissing what he called ‘fabricated’ media reports.

“I can’t even think of leaving Pakistan. Confirm before running such fabricated news,” Sarfaraz Ahmed emphasised during the interview with Samaa Digital.

“Sad to see such news.”
