A Sky Sports reporter at the London Stadium has shared what he’s heard about West Ham D-Day deals as the clock ticks down.

The January transfer window deadline day has arrived and West Ham face a race against time to get deals done.

Sky Sports have been the big drivers of deadline day down the years.

But there has been little for the media giants to report on during what has been a deathly quiet window, not just at West Ham, but across the board.

Hammers News brought you an exclusive deadline day transfer update from the top source inside West Ham this morning.

Manager David Moyes has revealed he hopes for a last minute signing after a chat with technical director Tim Steidten.

Now a Sky Sports reporter at the London Stadium has shared what he’s heard about West Ham D-Day deals.

MORE WEST HAM STORIES

James Savundra has taken up his position outside West Ham’s ground as he looks to bring updates throughout deadline day.

And he has delivered some initial news on the most likely arrivals and departures – ‘if any’.

Savundra on what he’s heard about D-Day deals

“At West Ham for Deadline Day,” Savundra said.

“Time running out for West Ham to bring in a wide forward. Jota and (Ibrahim) Osman deals have proven to be difficult.

“(Said) Benrahma and (Pablo) Fornals most likely outgoings – if any.”

We reported yesterday that West Ham were looking at a three in and three out scenario going into the last 24 hours of the winter window.

The Hammers are reportedly chasing deadline beating deals for the attackers Savundra mentioned – Jota and Ibrahim Osman as well as Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.

The Jota deal looks to have been killed stone dead by a shock announcement yesterday.

West Ham have only signed Kalvin Phillips in this window and there are now just 12 hours until Thursday night’s 11pm deadline.

Benrahma is mulling a move to Lyon after West Ham accepted their loan to buy bid. And Fornals could return to Spain with Real Betis.
