The biggest street style trends you need to know from London Fashion Week

The streets of the capital are currently teeming with stylish folk thanks to the latest edition of

London Fashion Week – aka, LFW. Editors, buyers, models and celebrities are all in attendance for one of the biggest events in the fashion calendar and, with so many chic peeps in one place, it only follows that the street style offering is just as strong as the runway.

While the catwalks will be showcasing looks for the autumn/winter 2024 season, the street style set will no doubt be repping trends from the current season too and anticipating what might come next. Just a few days in, we can officially confirm that bright red is *still* the hottest colour of the moment, whether worn boldly head-to-toe or as a single flash of colour. We spotted countless pairs of red tights on the FROW (esp these by Calzedonia), as well as red accessories creating a cool contrast to tonal ‘fits.

Shoes-wise, everyone’s loving mesh ballet flats and black-and-white Penny Loafers atm, paired with chunky socks and/or peeking out from under tailored trousers (it’s called office-core, ppl!), while faux-fur coats continue to reign supreme and JW Anderson’s Bumper remains the cool-girl bag of choice. And for the more out-there fashionistas, it was all about dark denim co-ords, sheer knee-high stockings and skirts layered over trousers ’90s style.

As for what else has caught our eye out on the city’s streets? Scroll through to see the very best street style moments from London Fashion Week’s AW24 season so far. Trust us when we say: you’ll want to save every single one to your camera roll…
